Municipality of Diakopto consists of the following departments: Ano Diakopto, Diakopto, Elaionas, Eliki, Zahloritika, Katholiko, Keryneia, Mamousia., Nikoleika, Rizomylos, Rodia and Trapeza.

Diakopto is the Capital of Municipality. It is a beautiful town with lots of flowers and nice gardens. Houses are placed between orange and lemon trees, spreading their scent all over. At the coastal line, there are various restaurants, cafes, taverns, hotels and apartments.

From Diakopto, Odontotos Rail starts its route, passing through marvellous Vouraikos canyon and reaching Kalavryta in 70 minutes, covering 22 klm.

At the square where railway station is, you will see old steam engine of Odondotos, which used to be called "Mountzouris".
